THE INQUEST.
M^huest was held on Sunday, th gßP^inst. by W. Byall Fosbroke, -Rqrl^,, acting coroner, andfa jury of fxx'^fVhom-M? B. Hoe, of Woodhill, : a s foreman, on the body of Mrs k^-> Eliza Harden, aged 73, who was acorn l^l^Vdently burned to death on the 9ih znst. 1 The evidence went to show that deI ceased, who was in her usual health. I W attended to her various domestic I duties. At 12.30 p.m. a young man I named Herbert Gaily, who was emW nloved by the deceased lady, was on 1% J},e verandah when he smelt fire, he I rushed to the kitchen and found Mrs ■ Harden enveloped in flames. . He ex tinguished the fire and then ran to Woodhill for help ; on his return Mrs Harden was dead. Witness thougnt I r deceased had had a seizure and was dead before the fire touched her. i -*.
