GRAND CONCERT.

In the Foresters' Hall on Friday next the 13th inst the people of. Helensville, are to be favoured with an exceptionally good musical programme at the Grand Concert to be held in aid of St Matthew's Church Funds. The services of several good artists have been obtained and these include, Miss Gwenyth Evans, who possesses a fine rich contralto voice. Miss Evans has through the Auckland Competitions of 1911 and 1912 captured many prizes and in the latter year had the good fortune to win the much coverted gold medal, which entitles her, as leading lady vocalist for the seasons competitions. Four members of the Musical Society will renaer Barnbys ''Sweet and Low." Another visiting artist is Mr Double, of Henderson who possesses a baritone voice of good quality, and is also a very clever comic artists. Needless to say the programme will be further strengthened by engagement of such artists as Misses Rimmer and F Donovau, also Messrs H Drawer and 0. S. White, and Miss J. Little md Mr R. Eenton will play Pianoforte and Bassoon Solos respectively. The whole will conclude with a dance.
