A meeting of the committee of the above was held in the Heading Room on Friday evening last. Present: Messrs A J. Hill (chairman), AnrelL Driscoll, .Card, and C. H, Spinley (secretary). The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. v Three tenders for the' erection ofVw * fr f a v nd Z*l°> ranging froutl £t 18s for 6x o posts, to £15 12s 6d tor 9x9 posts were opened. It was decided to let the matter stand over as the pr:ces were higher than expected. The Secretary stated that Mr Ber~ man Treasurer, had left the town. and it was necessaiy to fill the office It was resolved that Mr E.
