Sir, —Enclosed we are forwarding a letter which has been sent to the Chairman of the Town Board as a protest to prevent his ordering material for the Board without authority, which we ask to be published for local information. Copy: " Helensville, August 31st, 1912, The Chairman, Helensville Town Board, Sir.—We, the undersigned members of thd Helensville Town Board, hereby notify you that we will not recognise or pass for payment any accounts for pipes or other material ordered by you, without first having obtained the sanction of the Town Board before placing such orders," (Signed) A.
