HELENSVILLE REGATTA.
A committee meeting of the above "was held in Misses Little and Donovan's shop on Friday, sth, inst. Presont: Capt. Sellais, in the chair, Capt, Hammond, Messrs W, Bradly, Or. Ben» nett. W. Scott, Tui McEwin, ■ and F. Tucker (eecretary). The secretary read a letter from Mr Speck appealing against the decision ot the Committee in diequalifying his boat in the fifth race, and asking for an interview. After some discussion it was decided that the committee could not alter its previous decision.
The following accounts were passed for payment: Mr Card, £7 Is 9d ;Mr Tucker, 8s lOd; Foresters' Hall, £i 2s 6d ; Kaipara S.S. Co.. £4 ; Sellars Allen Co., £7 ; Little and Donovan, £1 Is (3d ; 0. McLeod, 17s Gd; J. Cain, ys Extra for Band, 10s.
The committee also instructed the secretary to .Trite and thank the following gentlemen for their valuable assistanco to the Eegatta: Messrs H. and E, Fenton. McLeod Bros., O. and W. Sandin, P. McLeod, Y. McLeod, J. Wilson, H. Thompson, G. Willis, Jas. McLeod, and W, Bishop.
