SOCIAL EVENING.

A social Evening, as a final to the dancing classes of Misses Little an d Donovan which, have been well attended during the dancing season, was held in the Foresters' Hall on Friday evening- last and proved a most enjoyable function, there being about 45 couples present, and was kept going with vira till the early hours, The music supplied dy Misses Xiittle and Donovan was as usual all that could be desired; and Mr John Hand as M.G. carried out his duties in an able manner, A light supper supplied by Mr X.Hunter nicely laid out in the supper room was much appreciated by those present and added to the pleasure of the evening. A number of young people present, pupils of Misses Littlo and Donovan, showed that the tuition received by them during the season had been sound, as one and all were able to join in the dilferent dances.
