CRICKET. AUSTRALIANS V. NOTTINGHAM. (Received May 20, 7.15 p.m.) London, May 19. The cricket match, Australians v. Notts, whs continuced at Nottingham to-day. The rain which prevailed some days past cleaved off, and the weather was fine during the match. The attendance was consequently good, and the wicket had recovered from the effects of the wet, and was fairly lively. The bowling of the Australian team was much admired, being as a role dead on the wicket, but they seemed hardly to work together yet, their fielding being rather weak, and several good chauces being missed. The Australians, who, on the previous evening had one wicket down for 50 runs, resumed their innings, and put together 109 before they were disposed of. The principal scorers were : Bonnor, bowled 28 ; Scott, bowled, 23; Garrett, run out, 30. The Home team then went to the wickets and made 104, the most prominent run-getters being Selby, caught, 22; Shacklock, bowled, 14; Shaw, not out, 15; Sherwin, bowled, 24. The Australians went in for their second' inniugs, and when time was called had scored 12 runs for two wickets.

As the first day was lost on account of the rain the match cou d not be played out, and a draw therefore was declared.
