[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB AUTUMN MEETING. Sydney, May 1. The last days races of the A.J.C. Antunm Meeting were run at Randwick to-day. The attendance was good, and favorable weather was experienced. The following are the results of the principal events : Plate Handicap; one mile and half. N-lson 1 Dagobert ... ... 2 Gozo ... ... ... 3 Twelve horses faced the .starter for this event. Nelson, who carried 9st. 91b., drew out on reaching the last quarter of a mile, never being beaded, and won easily by a length. Time, 2min. 38£sec. Steeplechase; about three miles. Goodwood ... ... + Skobeloff + Kangaroo ... ... 2 Goodwood and Skobeloff ran a dead heat for first place, and afterwards divided the stakes. Kangaroo came iu third. There were eight starters. Time, 7min. Gsecs. Australian Jockey Club Plate • weight for age; three miles. Hon. J. White's b c Matchlock, by Musket—Yatterina 1 M.ijor Georgi-'s ch h Nelson, by King Cole—My Idea ... ... 2 Ron J. White's Monte Ohristo ... 3 This event, the principal one on the programme, brought out a field of five horses. A fair start was effected, and the inc* resulted in a great finish, iu which Matchlock heat Nelson by half a length. Monte Christo being third. Time, smin. 52-fsecs. Sandal and i Cerise and Blue were the other starters.
