RETURN o» COMBINED SQUADRON (Received April 28, 8.50 p.m.) London, April 27. The Orient Company's steamship Austral arrived at Plymouth to-day from Melbourne (March 19). The ship Buttermere, which left Port Augusta, S.A., on November 19, and about whose safety considerable fears were entertained, was spoken by a Homeward bound vessel on April 12. Arrived Westland, from Port Chalmers (January 23). Rio de Janiero, April 26. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.'s steamship lonic sailed for London last night, the frozen meat cargo being in good condition. (Received April 29, 0.40 a.m.) Athens, April 28. In response to the demands of the Powers, the Greek Government has issued a decree formally disbanding the first and second class Greek Reserves. The ships of the combined squadron, which recently left the Piraeus, have returned to that anchorage.
