The match between the Australian ieam which is about to proceed to England and a combined fifteen from Australia was commenced to-day. The Australian team went in first, and when stumps were drawn had scored 320 for the of six wickets, the principal scorers being Jones 76, Jarvis 52, and Palmer 50, not out.
