The body lies at the Sydenham Hotel waiting an inquest. Wellington, November 19. Arrived, Helen, barque, Captain James, from G-lasgow, after a passage of 95 days. While she anchored two miles from the Heads yesterday evening, she experienced a very heavy north-west gale, during which she broke from her anchorage, losing her anchors and seventy fathoms of chain. The pilot and crew were on board at the time, and when thd cable parted they attempted to get their boat, which was alongside. While so engaged a heavy sea struck the boat, completely smashing it. The loss is estimated at £IOO. The steamer Aorangi sailed for London at 4.45 this afternoon, taking a large complement of passengers and a full carge, including 15,000 carcasses of frozen mutton. His brother was drowned at Tauranga, in a similar manner, eighteen months ago.
