WARDEN'S COURT.
Friday, March 20. [Before D. Macfarlane, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. John White and party applied for a double-area claim at Larrikins. The application was objpcted to by Wm. Nicholson and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, for the reason that it inclnded their tail-race, boxing-blocks and other property.—The application was granted, subject to all existing rights and privileges. William Nicholson, by his agent Mr Hannan, applied to register an abandoned water-race at Saw-mill Creek, on the Education Reserve.—Granted. Joseph Young and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for an extended claim of six acres at Upper Larrikins.—The application was objected to by Mr Seddon, on behalf of James .Mobiles and party, and Cullen and p:irt.y j but grunted, Mibj.ict to all existing rights »a 4 privileges; appli-
oants not to work withiu ten feet of either side of creek, the same being reserved; and tailings to be deposited so as not to interfere with the flow of water in the creeks. James Holmes, by his agent Mr Seddon, applied for protection to his water rights at Houlahan's Plat, which was granted.
