Austria was continued to-day. When the stumps were drawn, the home team had eight wickets down for 305 runs, as against the Englishmen's total in their first innings of 269. The highest scorers for Australia were M'Donnell, caught, 20; Giffen, bowled, 32; Bonnor, 128; Jones, not out, 40.
