CANADIAN MILITIA to do DUTY IN ENGLAND. (Received February 11, 12.5 a.m.) London, February 9, Evening, It is stated that 600 men of the Canadian Militia are coming to England to do garrison duty in place of the troops being despatched to Egypt. Arrived, the Orient steamship John Elder, from Melbourne, December 26. (Received February 11, 12.30 p.m.) February 10. The cargo of frozen mutton ex steamship Coptic, from New Zealand, has arrived in good condition.
