FALL OF A VERANDAH IN SYDNEY. ONE PERSON KILLED; OTHERS SEVERELY INJURED. SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE. (Received February 10, 8 p.m.) Sydney, February 10. Arrived, this afternoon, the Pungarooma, from Auckland.
Sailed, this afternoon, the Hauroto, for Wellington. A verandah in George street fell on to the footpath to-day. Several persons were underneath at the time; one was killed, and otheis were injured more or less severely. (Received February 11, 12.5 a.m.) Melbourne, February 10. Arrived, the Tarawera, from the Bluff.
Albany, February 10. Arrived, this afternoon, the P. and O. steamship Shannon, with the English mails, dated January 9.
