Sir Charles "Wilson, who was wrecked while, returning from Khartoum to Metemneh, is rescued from the island on which he landed, near Shabukli Cataract, and, with the detachment, has reached Metemneh iu safety. He has since arrived at Korti to confer with General Wolseley. More troops are being despatched from Korti to Gubal. Suakim, February 10. News has reached here that Osraan Dignah is massing a large force of Mahdites near Tamai, between this place and Berber. Bombay, February 10. The reinforcements of troops to be despatched to Soudan from India will consist of Indian Native Regiments.
