The cricket match at Kensington Oval, Australiaus v. the Players of England, was concluded to-day. The weather was splendid, and the wicket in much better order than yesterday. There was a large attendance of spectators. The Home team, with one wicket down and 5 runs ap, continued their second innings, which closed for a total of 71 runs. TJlyett and Peate were the only batsmen who were able to make any stand against the bowling of the visitors which, especially on the part of Spofforth, was most effective, his analysis showing six wickets for only 30 runs. TJlyett scored 31, caught; Peate, 19, bowled. The Australians, requiring only 28 runs to win, went in for their second innings, and the requisite number of runs were secured with the loss of only one wicket (Bonnor bowled, 12); and the visitors were thus victorious by nine wickets.
