The Australian cricketers play a match to-day at Leicester, against eleven of the county, consisting of Hay, C. Marrion, J. M. Manion, Scone, J. A. Turner, F. Turner, Bottomore, Ryloff, Parnham, Warrin, and Wheeler. Evening. The weather today for the cricket match was inclement, and play was stopped by showers at intervals during the day. The atteudance was only moderate.
The Home team went in first, and were all disposed of for 143. The highest scorers were—Hay, bowled, 33; Warrin, caught, 32.
