♦ [REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SORTIE BY GENERAL GORDON PROM KHARTOUM. MORE UNTRUSTWORTHY EGYPTIAN TROOPS. TWO HUNDRED KILLED BY THE ARABS. (Received April 1, 0.25 a.m.) Cairo, March 30. Telegrams from Soudan state that Gordon Pasha made a sortie from Khartoum on the 16th inst. at the head of a strong force of Egyptian troops. The latter proved perfectly untrustworthy, and fled at the first charge of the Arab cavalry, 200 being killed. [SPECIAL TO MELBOURNE AGE.] London, February 18. Admiral Hewett, at present at Souakim, has issued a notice ordering the whole of the slaves, who ran away since the commencement of the insurrection to return to their masters.
