The minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. A report from the snb-committee appointed at the last meeting was read, and, after due consideration, was adopted; and on its recommendation a snb-committee was appointed to procure evidence and otherwise make arrangements for assisting at the projected inquiry into the working of the sludgechannel and water-race, &c.; and, at the first intimation from the Government when the inquiry shall take place, to convene a meeting of the whole Committee to appoint someone legally qualified to represent the miners at the said inquiry. The meeting then adjourned sine die.
