Sydney, April 5. The following horses have been scratched for the St. Ledger Stakes, to be run at the Australian Jockey Club’s meeting on Easter Monday :—Clancarty, Emulation and Sorunambula. Green and Captain Chatfield are passengers for England by the Orient Company’s steamship John Elder, which sailed to-day. The Victorian Volunteers commence their encampment this evening. The weather is now fine and favorable for the Easter Review. Fears are entertained for the safety of the s.a. Teira from this port to Sydney. She is now considerably over due.
