London, April 4, Government has issued an injunction against the Channel Tunnel Company to cease work until the project has been examined and reported upon by military authorities. Ottawa, April 5. A bill legalising marriage with a deceased wife’s sister, which was passed by the Canadian House of Commons on the 22nd ult, has been passed by the Senate. Paris, April 5. Reinforcements for the French troops in Tripoli were despatched to-day. Constantinople, April 6. Arrangements are being made by the Porte for doubling the strength of the Turkish troops at Tripoli.
