LATEST ENGLISH NEWS. London, March 16. Ifc is announced that Foister, Chief Secretary for Ireland, has arranged that the imprisoned " suspects" shall receive an additional two hours' recreation daily. The President of the Northampton Radicals.has applied to the Queen's Bench for a mandamus to compel Bradlaugh to perform his parliamentary duties. The Radical electors demand that he should have a hearing at the bar. Her Majesty the Queen has arrived safely at Men tone. At a meeting of the Conservative members of Parliament to-day it was unanimously resolved to give the fullest support to the leaders of the party, and strenuously oppose the cloture proposals of Government. It was further resolved to act with caution in dealing with the Irish question. ♦ __ LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Melbourne, March 17. Sailed—this afternoon, the Union Company's steamship Alhambra, for Bluff, ' Brisbane, March 18. The Custom House officials have seized £SOO worth of jewellery which had been smuggled into this port.
