At the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning before E, Baris Esq.,- J.P., William Newman was charged with drunkenness. The number of programmes has been reduced to 2000, so as to correspond with the limited time available, but should the applications exceed that number, then the value of the programmes will be proportionately increased. The fastest passage ever made across the Atlantic, from Liverpool to New York, was recently accomplished by the Servia in 6 days 8 hours. She is a new boat jiißt built for the Cunard Company.
