—+ LATEST FOREIGN NEWS. Cairo, Februaiy 3. Yielding to the pressure of the military the Chamber of Notables have nominated Mahound Savoude Pasha, Minister of War, under Cherif Pasha as Premier. The new Ministry of the Khedive has accepted nomination, and Mahound is now engaged in filling up the various portfolios of the Cabinet. ■ ♦ LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. Sydney, February 6. Two stewards of the steamship Mirzapore have been attacked with smallpox, and two further cases are believed to be developing. The revenue of New South Wales for the mor.th of January shows an increase of £123,000 compared with same period of last year. Buisbaxe, February 6. A destructive cyclone has been experienced at Cardwell. An hotel and tln-ee houses have been completely destroyed, and the jetty aud a number of boats have been severely damaged.
