[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, February G. Among the passengers by the Rotorua at Auckland yesterday was W. J. Hunt, who wns arrested by the order of the High Commissioner of the "Western Pacific and expelled from Samoa. Mr Hunt, it is stated, intends to proceed in the Supreme Court against Sir Arthur Gordon for wrongful imprisonment. Dunedin, February G. A fire was discovered early this morning ou board the barque Manx Queen, lying at Port Chalmers. It originated among the effects of a deceased person which were being sent home to his friends. The fire was got under after 30 tons of flour among the cargo was damaged. CRICKET. OTAGO V. CANTERBURY. Dunedin, February 6. The cricket match, CHago v. Canterbury, was concluded to-day, the former winning by 71 rutin.
