Dunedin, February 2. "Robert Finlay, of the firm of Lambeth and Finlay, builders, attempted suicide by hanging. He had a three-, inch rope round his neck, specially bought for the purpose, had made his will, and completed all the preparations. His wife found him, and his atbempt was frustrated.
