[SPECIAL TO KUMARA TIMES.] THE FIRE AT REEFTON. OTHER CHARRED REMAINS AMONG THE RUINS. Eeeftox, December 2. Some human remains hare just been discovered on the scene of Dawson’s Hotel fire. They are supposed to be those of Dick Lecher, who lias not been seen since, the fire. lie was seen saving property from the buildings adjoining Dawson’s premises, previous to that place catching fire, and must have been similarly occupied when overtaken by the flames in Dawson’s upper story. It is almost impossible to distinguish between the remains buried yesterday as Peter Oelsted’s and those found to-day. THE GREYMOUTH NOMINATIONS. Greymouth, December 2. The nomination for the Greymouth district of the General Assembly took place at the Gmirt House, at noon today. Messrs J. Petrie, F. Guinness, and D. Madden were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Petrie. A poll was demanded, which takes place on the 9oh inst.
