[new ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.! Wellington, July 27. At a meeting of the Stir Boating Club last evening, for the purpose of considering the feasibility of instituting an amateur sculling championship for New Zealand, it was resolved that the Club should take ‘initiatory steps towards accomplishing this object, and a committee of five was appointed to draw up proposals to be submitted to the rowing clubs throughout the Colony.
