WARDEN'S COURT.

Tuesday, July 18. [Before H. A. Stratford, Esq., Warden.J The Court opened at 9 a.m. The following Kumara applications were dealt with S-^ Romas and party, by theif agent, Mr Hannan, applied for protection for a tunnel, and for a double area.— Both applications were refused. Sellars ar.d party applied for a branch race. Granted, subject to existing rights. J. Smith and J. Duckworth applied for an extended claim of two acres.— Mr Barff appeared for the applicants.-" The case was adjourned until a survey had been made. Clancey and jrarty applied for a special site of half an acre.—Mr Hannan appeared for the applicants.— Granted conditionally. The application of Stewart and party for an extended claim was adjourned to the Ist of August. The applications for extended claims of Burke and party, by their agent, Mr Barff, and Lee and party, by their agent, Mr Hannan, were granted. The following Greenstone applications were disposed of: — Hillier and party applied for a double area.—Adjourned to 25th, at 8 p.m. An application of Summers and party, for the banks of a creek to be denned, was refused.

An application of the same party for a tail-race, was informal, and new notices were ordered to be posted. Ah Sue and party, by their agent, Mr Hannan, applied for a tail-race.— Granted conditionally. An application of the same party for a head-race, was adjourned to the 15th of August. Messrs Berdiner and Straight applied for a special site at Cape Terrace.— Mr Haunan appeared for the applicants.—Granted, subject to conditions. The application of Cox and party for a flood-race, was granted conditionally.
