News received from South America states that a revolution has broken out in Buenos Ayres, the capital of the Argentine Republic The city is besieged, and the port blockaded by the revolutionists. The cricket match, Australians v eighteen of Birmingham, at Ashton Park, was continued to-day. The weather was showery throughout the day. The Home team went in for their first innjngs, and were all put out for 88 ruus. The bowling of the Australians was dead on the wicket. The Home team being 91 behind, followed their innings, and when the stumps were drawn had lost seven wickets for 20 ruus. June 23. In the House of Commons, Labouchere introduced a motion to permit Bradlaugh, who refused to take the oath, to make an affirmation instead. A long and animated debate ensued, lasting two days. Gladstone and other prominent Ministers supported Labouchere's motion, which was negatived on a division. The Conservative papers consider the result as a defeat of the Government. Washington, June 12. Tilden has resigued the leadership of the Democratic party in America.
