Loan 1879 to 1894. 99|. Adelaide wheat per 4961bSj ex warehouse, 425. Market quiet. The total stock of tallow in London ou the Ist iust. was 17,200 casks. At the wool sales to-day 10,800 bales were offered, making a total of 126,600 catalogued since the opening. The tone of the auction was quieter and weaker.
May 4. Bradiaugh, who was elected for Northumberland duriug the late elections, having declined to take the oath, a committee of the House of Commons has been appointed to consider whether the same can be dispensed with.
Melbourne, May 4. The formal opening of the Yictorian Parliament takes place on the 12th inst.
