Messrs Elliott and Davies are the two chosen to be county councillors. Tbe object is a protest against having that long piece of what should be in the Raglan county part of Matakowbsi riding, and if all local ratepayers vote together for our two men Te Mata baa no member and may oe glad to go home to its mother, Raglan County. Oparau settlers want the -tlway here and all other sections of f b « trict do too. Sink all foolishness and leave it to Government employees.
