Sib, —After noting in your issue of 19th June the fact that the Kawhia County Council havj yoted the sum of £5O “ to recompense Chairman Shaw in some measure for the expenses incurred in attending to the duties necessary to tbe position,” I have definitely decided to contest the election of the Taharoa Biding.—Yours, etc., F.
