Ccunty Notices. w KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order making a Special Rate to meet the in terest and other charges on a Loan of Five Thousand Pounds was duly passed at a Special Meeting of the Council on the 21st January, 1907, viz. : That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Kawhia County Ooun cil| hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest'and other charges on a Loan of Five Thousand Pounds (£5000) (this is a portion of a Loan of £12,000 for 2 successive years expenditure) authorised to ba raised by the Kawhia County Council under the abt-ve named Ac*, for the purp >se of providing for the Widening and Metalling of the Ma : hoenut-Kawhia Road, the said Loan to be for a period of 41 years, and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 3-g-d tin the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Maboenui-K&whia Special Rating District, comprising: All those sections abutting the said Mahoenui Kawhia road from Lemon Point to where the Mahoenui Kawhia road crosses the Marokopa River ; and a rate of 1 13 16d in the £ on sections 21,| 22, 28, block I, section la, block 111, sections la, 2, 11, 12, block V, sections 8,4, block VI, section 2,8, block IX, and section 8, block X, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payableVn the Ist day of July in each und every year during the currency of >ucb Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such Loan is fully paid off.
