PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Older, making a Special Rato f o meet tbe in terest and other obargea on a Loan of One Thousand Pounds was duly pasted at a Special Meeting of the Council on the 21sc January, 1907 ( viz. : That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Loans to Bocal Bodies Act, 1901,” the Kawhia County Council hereby re solves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Ono Thousand Ponnds (£1000) (this is portion of o I Lor*» of £12,000 for two consecutive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the above named Act, for tbe purpose of providing Cor the Widening and Metalling of the Waite tuna Aotea Road, tbe said Loan to be lor a period of 41 years, and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 2|d in tbe £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Waitetuna-Aotea Special Rating District, comprising :—Sections 1, 2,8, 4, 5, 6 and 7, block X, sections 1,2 and 4, block XI, Waitetuna-Aotea; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring ..rate during tbe currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such Loan is fully paid off. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given -*- that the following Special Order making a Special Rate to meet the interest and other charges on a Loan of One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds was duly passed at a Special Meeting of the Council on the 21st January, 1907, viz.: That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901/* tbe Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£1750) (this is portion of a Loan of £12,000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by tbe Kawhia County Council, under the above named Act, for the purpose of providing for the Widening ana Metalling of the Pirongia West Rond, the said Loan to he for a period! of 41 years, and that the interest to paid is at tbe rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes aud levies a special rate of 1 11 16d in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Pirongia West Special Rating District, comprising : —Sections 1,2 and 8, block I, Pirongia West; sections 1 and 2, block IV, Kawbia North ; section 1, block VIII; sections 1, 2, 8,4, Pirongia West ; and half rates on sections 2 and 8, block VIII; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on tbe let day of July in each and every year during tbe currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such time as the Loan is fully paid off. KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. DOG TAX FOB 1907 NOTICE is hereby given that MR. THOMAS ASHBOLT has been appointed Registrar of Dogs and Collector of the Tax for the Kawhia County Council. Owners of dogs are reminded that tbe Act requires them to register their dogs annually, and that collars must be obtained from the Collector, and any person keeping an unregistered dog is liable to prosecution.
