SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order, making a Special Rate to meet the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds was duly passed at a Special Meeting of tha Council on the 21et January, 1907, viz.: That in pursuance and ex ercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Fiv£ Hundred Pounds (£2500) (this is a portion of a Loan of £12,000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the above named Act, for the purpose of providing for Widening and Metalling the Awar ja-Maboe road from Gray’s landing up as far as Te Toi road, the said Loan to bo for a period of 41 years, and that the interest to be paid ia at the rate - ' 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawhia Council hereby rnuke- and levies a Special Rate of 2 1 10 i in ii." £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Awaroc Mah e Special Rating District, comprising :—All those sections abutting on fo the Awaroa-Mahoe road, from Gray’s landing up to section sb, block VIII, and section 3, block VIII (inc r ivc), and section 8, block XI, <c ion 8, block VII, section 4a, block VIII, section 1, block IV, section 6, bl< ok XIII, GOl acres of Crown 1 rd in block XVI, adjoining 6, block XIII, and Hauturu VW-» ck No. Ia ; und that such .Special Rale shall be an annual recur 'Sing rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of -11 years, or until such Loan is fully paid off.
