The Manakau Seat.
MU LANG’S CANDIDATURE. Mr Lang, the Opposition candidate for the Mannkau seat opened his cam paign at Mangere on Wednesday nigh', where he delivered an address after receiving a req-neition. He addresses meetings nightly in other parts of the electorate. Si far no strong cindidnlc is announced and therefore Mr Ling is looked upon as a certainty for the seat. Messrs Arthur Myers, Geral-I Peacccke and D. Sutherland all disclaim my inion tian of standing for the seat, while Mr Wesley Spragg aleo denies that he will be a candidate. The Government selection will probably be made from Messrs M’Cardle and Stembridge.— Waikato Times.
