Correspondence.

[While freely opening cur columns for the ducnssion of public matters we do not necessarily identify ! ourselves with the opinions expressed by con cspoudentg. We wish this to be distinctly understood.) Prospecthj Ratepayer.—Your letter re the Town Board Election received too late. It is generally understood that the election must be upset. LAUNCH WHARF. (to the editor.) Sir,—Now that Kawhia has a Town Board and the harbour is vested in th® County Council, we want these bodies to start agitating for a launch wharf. A tee from the main wharf built so that boats could make fast having bow on to the stream would be a good idea. A wharf the same as the Picton launch wharf is all that is required. Tho cost would be small' compared with the advantage to launch owners and the public.—Yours, etc., PRO BONO P JBLICO.
