wet weather the Oparau and Ka- ’ being got through Mr A ' Lawn Tennis on Toes- I day last, Mr F. C. Falwasser presiding. ~ I Tbe resignation of Mrs Howes ae a 1 member of the ladies committee was received and accepted. It was decided to hold a concert and ball on Easter Monday night, Af 38sra Newton, Falwasaeraud M'Cartby being appointed a sab-committee to attend to same. The prices were fixed as follows : Concert, Is ; dance, gents 2s, ladies Is. A vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Symons for her gift of timber to construct seats. Proposed by Mr APCarthy, seconded by Mr Fal waaser and carried :— Tijat tbe resolation appointing the secretary and chairman to form sets on playing days, be amended to read that the chairman and secretary be empowered to form sets- on playing days.
