It was decided to leave the I selection of captain and vice-captain until the first match. The members’ sub C’iption was fixed at si. A match with Oparau is to ba played at Kawhia on Saturday, 18to Inst. The matter cl paying something towards the cost' of a roller, which was being purchased by the the Kawhia County Lawn. Tennis Club was brought forward, and it was decided that the club (if iu a pecuniary position to do so) subscribe one pound towards tbe cost. The meeting closed with a of thanks to the chairman.
