BUSHMEN V. OP ARA I 1 AND KAWHIA COMBINED.

The above match, played at Kawhia on Saturday last, was witnessed by a large number of spectators, and proved to be the match of the season, resulting in a win for the former by nine points to six. J. Brough and E. Falwasser were the respective captains, whilst tries wore scored by Whitiora, Rima and J. Brough for the winners, and Falwasser and Crotiy for the losers. Mr F. Pearson was referee, Messrs Wetere and 0. Perham line umpires. During the mutch George Hodgson, • member of the Bushmen’s team, bad two of bis ribs broken through colliding with another player, and had to retire for medical aid, which was rendered by Dr 0.
