Kawhia Hack Racing Club.
A meeting of members of the abt.vo dub was held in Mr E. Falwasser's office on Saturday nigljt last (Mr E. Falwasser presiding), when about a dozen gentleman were present. The following programme was adopted :—Huddle Race, Ist £B, 2nd £2, 1| miles ; Maiden, Ist £5, 2nd £l, 5 fnrlongs ; Kawhia County Handicap, Ist £2O, 2nd £B,l} miles ; Rohepotae Handicap (native owners only), Ist £5, 2nd £l,l mile ; Members’ Handicap, Ist £6, 2nd £l, G furlongs ; Flying Handicap, Ist £l5, 2nd £B, 6 fur*
longs. The fee was fixed at £2 2s, and the hawker’s fee at 10s 6d. The course committee reported in favour of the Makefcu course, and it was resolved that Messrs Falwasser •nd Wetere arrange re securing same. The meeting then adjourned.
