FRENCH SUCCESS IN ARGONNE.
HILL CAPTURED FROM GERMANS. BOTH SIDES LOSE HEAVILY. Paris, Thursday. The Matin states that the French captured a hill at Notre Dame de Lorelle, in the Aisne Vall9y, and strongly entrenched themselves theie. The hill dominates the whole region, and had been contested for several wekes. An official communique states that a violent struggle occurred at Maria Theresa, in the Argonne. The French maintained their position. The enemy's losses were considerable, while those of the French were serious.
