' THE GUESSING COMPETITIONS. The guessing competitions in connection with the .A. and P. Show gave rise, to' a great deal of interest and competition was keen in respect to cattle, and sheep and pigs. Following are: the, results in the bullock and sheep competitions:—Bullock: H. Rothery 10401bs 1, H. Hine and J. T. Hetet 10451bs 2; actual weight 10401bs. Sheep: F. Spencer, P. Tennanfc and C. Stevens all guessed the actual weight of the three animals, 192b15. The guessing for the pig will be announced on Saturday. The winners of the points prize at the Show, which carries with it the handsome President's Cup, were Messrs Petch Bros. This is the second year in succession Messrs Petch Bros, have won the trophy, and they thoroughly deserve their success for the interest taken in the Show. The winner of Mr F. B. Hardy's Cup for most points in dairy cattle was Mr T. Smith, Waiteti.
