POLL FOR THE LOAN The poll in connection with the proposed loan for additions and extensions to the Borough electric light service, and fur meeting liabilities already incurred, is to be taken on Friday, February 19th. The matter has been very carefully considered by the Council, and an exhaustive report has been obtained from Mr F. Black, the well-known electrical engineer of Wellington. It has been arranged that n meeting of ratepayers will be called for Tuesday evening next, in order that; the whole position may be placed before the public prior to the vote being taken.
