APPEAL TO RATEPAYERS When the statement of .bank balances Was placed before the Borough Council on Monday evening, his Wor ship the Mayor, in referring to the position, said a strenuous effort would require to be made in order to collect as great an amount a a possible in rates before March, 31st. Several adjustments of accounts had to be made before that date, and he hoped the ratepayers would realise the position and pay their rates in tiuie to assist the Borough in respect to the adjustments.
