A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
FOURTH ANNUAL SHOW. The fourth annual show under the auspices of the King Country Central A. and P. Association promises to be quite up to the standard of previous fixtures hela at Te Kuiti. Satisfactory entries have been received in the various classes, though there is a regrettable falling off in the sheep division. The cattle in all classes are well represented and the draught horses are also well entered. There is something of: a falling away in the horse competitions, but this was anticipated in consequence of the drain on the district by the war. However., there are quite sufficient performers to make a highly interesting programme, and it is to be hoped the public will accord that support to the local function which is undoubtedly its due. In the horns industries section there is a gratifying increase in the entries, and interest promises to be keen. Arrangements in connection with the show are all well in hand, and given fine weather the attendance should be a record.
