MAORI MILITARY BAND
A treat is promised the public ot Ts Kuiti in the shape of a visit of the Maori Agricultural College Military Band and Glee Club, which is to appear at the People's Picture Palace on December 21st. The programme includes instrumental and vocal items by students, ind is highly varied and attractive in character. The proceeds are in aid of the Maori contingent and the Belgian Relief Fund, and the occasion is worthy of a bumper house. Seats may be booked at W. McColl's, Rora street. EMPRESS THEATRE. To-night one of the most attractive and pleasing pictures yet shown in Te Kuiti will be screened entitled "Hinemoa." This picture stands easily first amongst star and the setting of the drama is in the thermal regions of Rotorua, showing the famous sights of the district, which is an added attraction ot the merits of the drama. This opportunity should not be missed of seeing the picture. The war film showing will be particularly interesting. Thursday and Friday's change programme includes a magnificent star in four parts entitled "Fighting Blood of 1809," the latest war pictures, and supporting programme of merit. PEOPLE'S PICTURES. The eighth instalment of the great s?ri3l picture "Lucille Love," will be screened this evening, supported by an attractive programme cf allstar pictures. The change programme for Thursday and Friday includes a powerful drama entitled "Honour the Law."
