THE POLITICAL CAMPAIGN.
TAUMARUNUI ELECTORATE. The political campaign as far as this district is concerned, has now begun m earnest. Mr C. K. Wilson, the Government candidate, is commencing his tour of the back districts on Monday, starting at Mairoa and working towards Marokopa. The early fixtures of tha tour .will be / sasn in another column of this issue, and subsequent dates and places in the itinerary will be published later. Having already delivered addresses at Te Kuiti and Taurnarunui, Mr Wilson will probably not speak at those centres again until the near approach of the election. Mr W. T. Jennings, the Opposition candidate made an early start to work the electorate. He has already been through the Ohura «ar,d addressed meetings at the various centres. On Wednesday evening he spoke at Taumarunui to a good audience, and received a vote of thanks and confidence. Mr Jennings will address the electors at Te Kuiti on Monday evening in the People's Picture Palace. He will then continue his tour of the electorate as advertised.
